Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ: يَزِيدَ، أَوْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ قَرَأَ، ، الْقُرْآنَ فِي أَقَلَّ مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ لَمْ يَفْقَهْهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites the Qur'an in less than three days has not understood it."
