حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " كُلُوا، وَاشْرَبُوا، وَتَصَدَّقُوا، وَالْبَسُوا، فِي غَيْرِ مَخِيلَةٍ وَلَا سَرَفٍ، إِنَّ (١) اللهَ يُحِبُّ أَنْ تُرَى نِعْمَتُهُ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Eat, drink, give charity, and wear (clothes), but do not be arrogant and do not be extravagant. Allah Almighty likes that the effect of His blessings should be visible on His servant."
