English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The example of one who takes back his gift is like a dog that vomits and then licks it up. When someone who has given a gift asks for it back, the recipient should make a good effort to find it, and when it is found, he should return it."
