حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَي حُيَيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي أَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ، فَلَا أَجِدُ قَلْبِي يَعْقِلُ عَلَيْهِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ قَلْبَكَ حُشِيَ الْإِيمَانَ، وَإِنَّ الْإِيمَانَ يُعْطَى الْعَبْدَ قَبْلَ الْقُرْآنِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that a man came to the service of the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I recite the Qur'an but I do not find my heart steadfast upon it." The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Your heart is full of faith because a person is given faith before the Qur'an."
