Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were walking with the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) when the Prophet (ﷺ) saw a woman. We did not think that the Prophet (ﷺ) had recognized her. When we turned our attention to the road, the Prophet (ﷺ) stopped there. When the woman arrived, it became clear that she was Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her). The Prophet (ﷺ) asked her, "Fatimah! Have you left your house for some work?" She replied, "I came to the people living in this house; there had been a death here, so I thought I would offer condolences and pray for mercy for the deceased." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Then you must have gone with them to the graveyard?" She replied, "God forbid that I would go with them to the graveyard, while I remember what I have heard from you about this." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If you had gone with them, you would not have seen Paradise until your father's grandfather saw it."
