حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْخَمْرُ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا، ، فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ، ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ، ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ، ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ، عِنْدَ الرَّابِعَةِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever drinks alcohol, flog him. If he drinks again, then flog him again. If he drinks a third time, then flog him again. And on the fourth occasion, he said: 'Kill him.'"
