حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَاسْتَأْذَنَ، فَقَالَ: " ائْذَنْ لَهُ، وَبَشِّرْهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ " ثُمَّ جَاءَ عُمَرُ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَ، فَقَالَ: " ائْذَنْ لَهُ، وَبَشِّرْهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ " ثُمَّ جَاءَ عُثْمَانُ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَ، فَقَالَ: " ائْذَنْ لَهُ وَبَشِّرْهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَأَيْنَ أَنَا؟ قَالَ: " أَنْتَ مَعَ أَبِيكَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) came and sought permission to enter. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Grant him permission and give him the glad tidings of Paradise." Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came and sought permission to enter. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Grant him permission and give him the glad tidings of Paradise." I asked, "Where do I stand?" The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "You will be with your father."
