Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to me: "What will become of you when you will be among idle and inferior people?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah! How will that be?" The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When there will be corruption in promises and trusts, and people will become like this (the narrator interlaced his fingers to demonstrate)." I said, "O Messenger of Allah! What is your command for me at that time?" He said: "Fear Allah, adopt good deeds, avoid evil deeds, associate with the elite, and keep yourself away from the common people."
