حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّفَرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ: مَرَّ بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ نُصْلِحُ خُصًّا لَنَا، فَقَالَ: " مَا هَذَا؟ " قُلْنَا: خُصًّا لَنَا، وَهَى (١) فَنَحْنُ نُصْلِحُهُ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ: " أَمَا إِنَّ الْأَمْرَ أَعْجَلُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) passed by us while we were repairing our hut. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "What is happening?" We replied, "Our hut has become a bit weak, so we are fixing it." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The matter is more urgent than this (no one knows when death will come)."
