حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ بَايَعَ إِمَامًا، فَأَعْطَاهُ صَفْقَةَ (٢) يَدِهِ وَثَمَرَةَ قَلْبِهِ، فَلْيُطِعْهُ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ، فَإِنْ جَاءَ آخَرُ يُنَازِعُهُ، فَاضْرِبُوا عُنُقَ الْآخَرِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever gives the pledge of allegiance to an Imam and gives him the matter of his hand and the fruit of his heart, then he should obey him as much as possible, and if another man comes to dispute with him, then strike the neck of the other."
