حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْقَزَعِ فِي الرَّأْسِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "He forbade qaza." Qaza means that when cutting a child's hair, some hair is cut and some is left (as is the fashion nowadays).
