حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَنْحَرُ يَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى بِالْمَدِينَةِ "، قَالَ: " وَكَانَ إِذَا لَمْ يَنْحَرْ ذَبَحَ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) used to offer sacrifice in Madinah Munawwarah on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah, and if he was unable to perform nahr (slaughtering in the prescribed manner), he would simply slaughter it.
