English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) would say the takbeer, he would raise his hands to the level of his shoulders or close to it. He would also raise his hands when going into ruku and after raising his head from ruku, but between the two prostrations, the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) did not raise his hands.
