حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ، فَأُخْبِرَ (٣) بِامْرَأَةٍ لَهَا كَلْبٌ فِي نَاحِيَةِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ فَقُتِلَ " (٤)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) once ordered the killing of dogs in Madinah Munawwarah. A woman had come from the countryside; the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) sent a man and had her dog killed as well.
