حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ (١) ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ كُلَّمَا رَكَعَ، وَكُلَّمَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: مَا هَذَا؟ قَالَ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ كَبَّرَ، وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Muharib bin Dithar says that I saw Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) raising his hands every time he bowed (for ruku) and when he raised his head from ruku. I asked him, "What is this?" He replied: "The Noble Prophet (ﷺ), when he stood up to pray two rak'ahs, would say the takbir and raise his hands."
