حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، (٥)، ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ، فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ " قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مِثْلُ قِيرَاطِنَا هَذَا؟ قَالَ: " لَا، بَلْ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ أَوْ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ أُحُدٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever goes with a funeral and offers the funeral prayer will receive a reward equal to one qirat. Someone asked the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) about the qirat, so he said: 'It is equal to the mountain of Uhud.'"
