حَدَّثَنَاه حُسَيْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا تَكْذِبُوا عَلَيَّ، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ يَكْذِبْ عَلَيَّ، يَلِجِ النَّارَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Rib’i bin Hirash said:
I heard `Ali (رضي الله عنه) say: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Do not tell lies about me, for whoever tells lies about me will enter the Fire.”
