Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ،، ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: " كَذَا قَالَ أَبِي " " كَانَ النِّسَاءُ وَالرِّجَالُ يَتَوَضَّئُونَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَيُشْرِعُونَ فِيهِ جَمِيعًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that during the blessed era of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), men and women used to perform ablution together from the same vessel and would begin together.
