حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " رَحِمَ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ " قَالُوا: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " رَحِمَ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ "، فَقَالَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ: " وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." The people said, "O Messenger of Allah! Pray for those who shorten their hair as well." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) then, on the fourth time, said for those who shorten their hair: "O Allah, forgive those who shorten their hair as well."
