حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَتَى (٢) عَلَى رَجُلٍ قَدْ أَنَاخَ بَدَنَتَهُ لِيَنْحَرَهَا بِمِنًى، فَقَالَ: " ابْعَثْهَا قِيَامًا مُقَيَّدَةً سُنَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
Ziyad bin Jubair says that I was with Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) in the plain of Mina. On the way, he passed by a man who had made his she-camel kneel down on its knees and wanted to slaughter it. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to him: "Make it stand, tie its legs, and then slaughter it. This is the Sunnah of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."
