Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) once entered the House of Allah (the Ka'bah). At that time, Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him), Uthman bin Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) were with the Prophet (ﷺ). At the command of the Prophet (ﷺ), Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) closed the door. Then when the Prophet (ﷺ) came out, I asked Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), "What did the Prophet (ﷺ) do inside?" He replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed, leaving two pillars on his right, one pillar on his left, and three pillars behind him. At that time, there was a distance of three cubits between the Prophet (ﷺ) and the wall of the Ka'bah. Salim says that in those days, the House of Allah was built upon six pillars.
