حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ (٢) بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، وَأَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُسَبِّحُ وَهُوَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ رَاحِلَتِهِ لَا يُبَالِي حَيْثُ كَانَ وَجْهُهُ، وَيُومِئُ بِرَأْسِهِ إِيمَاءً "،، ، وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to offer voluntary prayers on his mount, regardless of which direction it was facing, and he would gesture with his head. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to do the same.
