Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: " كَانَ أَحَبَّ الْأَسْمَاءِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the most beloved names to the Prophet (ﷺ) were Abdullah and Abdur Rahman.
