حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا تَجَرَّعَ عَبْدٌ جَرْعَةً أَفْضَلَ عِنْدَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ جَرْعَةِ غَيْظٍ، يَكْظِمُهَا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللهِ تَعَالَى " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: No servant has ever swallowed a gulp more virtuous in the sight of Allah than the gulp of anger which he swallows seeking the pleasure of Allah.
