حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْحَارِثِيُّ (٢) ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيُّ (٣) ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا لَقِيتَ الْحَاجَّ فَسَلِّمْ عَلَيْهِ، وَصَافِحْهُ، وَمُرْهُ أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرَ لَكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بَيْتَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لَهُ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When you meet a pilgrim, greet him with salam, shake hands with him, and ask him to pray for your forgiveness before he enters his house, for he is forgiven.
