حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، سَمِعَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ، رَجُلًا يَقُولُ: وَالْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ: لَا تَحْلِفْ بِغَيْرِ اللهِ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ حَلَفَ بِغَيْرِ اللهِ فَقَدْ كَفَرَ وَأَشْرَكَ (١) " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Sa’d bin Ubaidah reports that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) heard a man swearing by the Ka’bah, so he said: Do not swear by other than Allah, for I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Whoever swears by other than Allah has committed shirk.
