Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَسْرٌ (٣) ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلِيطٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا أَحْسَسْتُمْ بِالْحُمَّى فَأَطْفِئُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When you feel fever, cool it with cold water.
