حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سِنَانُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ كُلَيْبِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِتْنَةً، فَمَرَّ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: " يُقْتَلُ فِيهَا هَذَا الْمُقَنَّعُ يَوْمَئِذٍ مَظْلُومًا "، قَالَ: فَنَظَرْتُ، فَإِذَا هُوَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) was mentioning tribulations, when a man passed by in front. The Prophet (ﷺ) saw him and said: "At that time, this veiled man will be martyred in a state of being oppressed." I went and saw that it was Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him).
