Translation

English translation

The freed slave of Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), "Yuhannas," says: Once I was sitting with Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) when one of his slave girls came and began to mention the severity of her circumstances and asked his permission to leave Madinah and go somewhere else. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said to her: Sit down. I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Whoever among you patiently endures the hardships and difficulties of Madinah, I will intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection.
