Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ قَالَ لِأَخِيهِ: يَا كَافِرُ فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِهَا (٢) أَحَدُهُمَا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When any one of you calls his brother 'O disbeliever!', then surely one of them returns as a disbeliever."
