حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: " كَانُوا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ جَمِيعًا " قُلْتُ لِمَالِكٍ: الرِّجَالُ وَالنِّسَاءُ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قُلْتُ: زَمَنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ (٥)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), all the people used to perform ablution together from the same vessel. I asked Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him), "Men and women, all together?" He replied, "Yes!" I asked, "In the time of the Prophet (ﷺ)?" He replied, "Yes."
