حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى غَيْرِ طَاعَةِ اللهِ (٥) مَاتَ وَلَا حُجَّةَ لَهُ، وَمَنْ مَاتَ وَقَدْ نَزَعَ يَدَهُ مِنْ بَيْعَةٍ كَانَتْ مِيتَتُهُ مِيتَةَ ضَلَالَةٍ " (٦)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: Whoever dies in a state other than obedience to Allah will die in such a way that on the Day of Resurrection, none of his arguments will be accepted. And whoever dies in such a state that he has withdrawn his hand from allegiance, his death will be a death of misguidance.
