حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ (٣) الطَّبَّاعِ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ الْيَمَانِيِّ قَالَ: أَدْرَكْتُ نَاسًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُونَ: " كُلُّ شَيْءٍ بِقَدَرٍ "، قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "، ، كُلُّ شَيْءٍ بِقَدَرٍ حَتَّى الْعَجْزُ وَالْكَيْسُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Tawoos Yamani (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I found many companions (may Allah be pleased with them) of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that everything is connected to destiny, and I also heard Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Everything is connected to destiny, even foolishness and intelligence."
