Original Arabic
[قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ] : حَدَّثَنَا سَوَّارُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ قَالَ: " أَنَا رَأَيْتُ غَيْلَانَ يَعْنِي الْقَدَرِيَّ مَصْلُوبًا عَلَى بَابِ دِمَشْقَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Ibn Awn says: I saw Ghaylan Qadari hanging on the gallows at the gate of Damascus.
