حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ، فَإِنَّهُ مَطْيَبَةٌ لِلْفَمِ، وَمَرْضَاةٌ (١) لِلرَّبِّ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Make the use of the miswak obligatory upon yourselves, for it is a means of purification for the mouth and a cause of Allah's pleasure."
