Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْخَيْلُ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ أَبَدًا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Goodness and blessing have been placed in the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
