حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ فِي أَوَّلِ أَمْرِهِ: " إِنَّهَا لَا تَنْفِرُ " قَالَ: ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عمر يَقُولُ: " رَخَّصَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَهُنَّ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Tawoos says that in the beginning, the opinion of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was that a woman cannot go for jihad, but later I heard him say that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had also permitted women.
