Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَحِيرٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ الْقَاصُّ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُ رَأْيُ عَيْنٍ، فَلْيَقْرَأْ: إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ "، - وَحَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: - " وَسُورَةَ هُودٍ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever wants to see the scene of the Day of Resurrection with his own eyes, he should recite Surah Takweer and Surah Infitar, and perhaps Surah Hud was also mentioned."
