حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: رَمَقْتُ (٢) النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعًا وَعِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً،، ، أَوْ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً " يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ، وَقُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once I observed for twenty-four or twenty-five days that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite Surah Al-Kafirun and Surah Al-Ikhlas in the two rak'ahs (Sunnah) before Fajr and after Maghrib.
