English translation

Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once a funeral passed by us, and Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Come, let us go with it." Saying this, he held my hand firmly. When we reached near the graveyard, the sound of someone weeping was heard from behind. At that time, Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was still holding my hand. He turned back with me and stood in front of the woman who was weeping, rebuked her harshly, and said that the Prophet (ﷺ) has forbidden any weeping woman from going with the funeral.
