Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ،، ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُرَاهُ (١) ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ مَثَّلَ بِذِي رُوحٍ، ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُبْ مَثَّلَ اللهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever mutilates a living being and does not repent, Allah Almighty will do the same to him on the Day of Resurrection."
