حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ نَهْشَلِ بْنِ مُجَمِّعٍ، عَنْ قَزَعَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ لُقْمَانَ الْحَكِيمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِذَا اسْتُوْدِعَ شَيْئًا حَفِظَهُ " وقَالَ مَرَّةً: نَهْشَلٌ، عَنْ قَزَعَةَ أَوْ عَنْ أَبِي غَالِبٍ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Luqman the Wise used to say, 'When something is entrusted to Allah's protection, He Himself protects it.'"
