قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي قُرَّةَ مُوسَى بْنِ طَارِقٍ قَالَ: قَالَ مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ: وَقَالَ نَافِعٌ: كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ إِذَا صَدَرَ مِنَ الْحَجِّ أَوِ الْعُمْرَةِ (٢) أَنَاخَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ، الَّتِي بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَأَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ حَدَّثَهُ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُعَرِّسُ بِهَا حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) says that when Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would return from Hajj or Umrah, he would make his camel sit in the valley of Batha at Dhu'l-Hulayfah, and he would say that the Prophet (ﷺ) also used to spend the night here until he had performed the Fajr prayer.
