Imam Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I used to go to and from with Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) for about one and a half to two years, but during this period I did not hear any hadith from him except this one (and look at how many hadith Hasan narrates). Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that some companions of the Prophet (ﷺ), among whom was Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), began to eat meat at the dining spread. One of the noble wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) called out and said, "This is the meat of a lizard." Upon hearing this, the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) stopped. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Eat it, it is lawful and there is no harm in eating it, but it is not something I eat."
