حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنِ اتَّخَذَ كَلْبًا إِلَّا كَلْبَ زَرْعٍ، أَوْ غَنَمٍ، أَوْ صَيْدٍ، فَإِنَّهُ يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطٌ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever keeps a dog that is neither for guarding fields or sheep nor a hunting dog, then his reward will decrease by one qirat every day."
