Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ - يَعْنِي - ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: خَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: " إِذَا رَاحَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once, while delivering a sermon, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When any one of you comes for Jumu'ah, he should come after performing ghusl (ritual bath)."
