Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " خَمْسٌ لَا جُنَاحَ فِي قَتْلِ مَنْ قَتَلَ مِنْهُنَّ: الْغُرَابُ، وَالْفَأْرَةُ، وَالْحِدَأَةُ، وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ، وَالْعَقْرَبُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There is no harm in killing five kinds of animals: the scorpion, the rat, the kite, the crow, and the rabid dog."
