حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ يَعْنِي السُّكَّرِيَّ، عَنْ، ، إِبْرَاهِيمَ يَعْنِي الصَّائِغَ، عَنِ نَافِعٍ، (١) عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَ الْوَتْرِ وَالشَّفْعِ بِتَسْلِيمَةٍ وَيُسْمِعُنَاهَا " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to separate the Witr and the two rak'ahs by saying salam, and the sound of the salam would reach our ears.
