Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ الْعَطَّارُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ،، ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " حَفِظْتُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشْرَ رَكَعَاتٍ، رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I have memorized ten rak‘ahs from the Prophet (ﷺ): two rak‘ahs before the Zuhr prayer and two rak‘ahs after it, and two rak‘ahs after Maghrib, and two rak‘ahs after ‘Isha, and two rak‘ahs before the Fajr prayer.
