حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: ذُكِرَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ يُخْدَعُ فِي الْبَيْعِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: " مَنْ بَايَعْتَ فَقُلْ: لَا خِلَابَةَ " فَكَانَ يَقُولُ: إِذَا بَايَعَ لَا خِلَابَةَ وَكَانَ فِي لِسَانِهِ رُتَّةٌ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that there was a man from the Quraysh whom people used to deceive in trade. This was mentioned before the Prophet (ﷺ), so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whenever you buy or sell with someone, say to him: 'There is no deception in this transaction.'" Since he had a stammer in his speech, instead of saying «لاخلابه», he would say «لاخيابه».
